SWD Technology Impact Scholarship

 The SWD Technology Impact Scholarship recognizes graduating seniors who demonstrate curiosity, creativity, and leadership in the use of technology. As technology continues to shape nearly every industry, this scholarship supports students who are using digital tools, innovation, and problem-solving skills to make a positive impact in their school or community.

This scholarship celebrates students who are not only interested in technology but who also think about how technology can improve lives, solve problems, and create new opportunities.

Award Amount: $500

 Applicants must:

• Be a 2026 graduating senior from SWD
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Demonstrate an interest in technology, innovation, or digital problem-solving
• Plan to enroll in a college, university, or postsecondary program in Fall 2026

Applicants must submit the following:

1. Completed Scholarship Application Form (see APPLY NOW link below)
2. One Letter of Recommendation
   -Must be from a teacher or counselor at SWD
3. Video Submission (3–5 minutes) addressing the prompts below

 In your video, please respond to the following:

1. Personal Growth & Technology
   Describe a personal challenge you faced and how technology helped you overcome it or achieve a goal.
2. Technology Achievement
   What technology project, activity, or innovation are you most proud of, and why?
3. Community Impact & Vision
   If you could develop a technology solution to address a problem in your school or community, what would it be and why?
