SWD Industry Trades Partnership Scholarship (HVAC)

 The, SWD Industry Trades Partnership Scholarship (HVAC) recognizes graduating seniors pursuing careers in HVAC, a skilled trade expected to be in high demand in the coming years. This scholarship provides $500 in financial support and the opportunity for a summer 2027 apprenticeship, giving students hands-on experience and a strong start toward a successful career.

• SWD graduating senior

• Accepted to a trade school or technical program in HVAC

• Plan to enroll in fall 2026

• Eligible for possible summer 2027 apprenticeship

• Good standing at SWD

Academic Requirement

• Minimum GPA: 2.5

• Completed scholarship application

• Proof of acceptance to HVAC trade program with plans to enroll fall 2026

• One letter of recommendation from a SWD teacher or counselor (required – no outside letters)

• Personal video (1–2 minutes): Why HVAC? Career goals? How will this impact your future?

• Scholarship Amount: $500

• Possible apprenticeship opportunity summer 2027 with local HVAC partner
